Dear Father Christmas,………….

Cute cartoon santa claus against cute village in the snowQuite amazingly the year is coming to an end. It’s November next week and many shops and supermarkets are already giving over large parts of their display to goodies for Christmas. Our local supermarket has been selling mince pies for two or three weeks already. Interestingly enough, these have a sell-by-date for the end of November. That would suggest to me that they are far more interested in their profits than they are in the festival of Christmas. Last year, Bracknell in Berkshire (my former place of residence) welcomed Father Christmas to the town in September. With that in mind, it must be time to write a letter to Father Christmas and send it up the chimney in anticipation of lots of exciting things on Christmas morning. So, here goes:

“Dear Father Christmas,

I’ve been a very good boy this year. I have not been naughty in any way since last Christmas, I have helped other people whenever I could and have eaten all my vegetables. As I have been so good, I think I deserve lots of really nice presents this year. Please would you give me the following:

  1. Please give me the willpower to keep going when things get a bit sticky in my internet business.
  2. Please give me the patience to see things through when they take longer to set up than I imagined.
  3. Please give me lots of marketing ideas so I can continue to grow my business through next year.
  4. Please give me the inspiration to develop my ‘List’ which, after all, is the basis of a successful online business.
  5. Please give me lots of new products that I can sell.
  6. Please give me a computer which never goes wrong and software which does everything it’s supposed to do every time I use it.
  7. Most of all, please can I have a successful internet business to give me the life-style and quality of life which I want both for myself and my family.

If none of this is possible, I’d like a toy fire engine please.

I am looking forward to Christmas morning with great anticipation.

Signed

Rob (Internet Marketer)”

I think that should do the trick, don’t you?
